Hand-Painted Rose Ceramic Vase

By artist Taomei：This rose vase is our little way of tucking an entire spring garden into clay and paint—so you can keep that warm, blooming feeling right at home.
Look closely at the bottle: those pink roses aren’t printed. We paint each petal by hand, letting the brush follow the rough texture of the clay. Some petals are light and wispy, like early morning buds still dewy; others are layered and rich, like roses fully bloomed under the afternoon sun. The leaves get layers of green too—deep emerald to frame the petals, soft lime to trace the veins—so it feels like a breeze could make them rustle.
We kept the rough, grainy feel of the clay on purpose. It’s not a “flaw”—it’s the earth holding onto the roses. Run your fingers over it, and you’ll feel the smooth glaze meet the gritty clay, just like the way your hands smell of dirt and roses after picking a bouquet from the backyard.
